    @hummer616 I think naitivity plays a tremendous role. New students come in and most have no idea what they’re doing and they’re nervous and you have all these ‘advisors’ that tell you what to do and say you’ll be ok and that the job the degree will get you will have you paid off within ten years. I had a small trust fund and got up to $9,000 in student loans before I decided I could never pay it off. But I was an English major and I knew I’d never make any money LOL.

    While I mostly agree with this, the part that doesn’t agree says it was her naive-ness that got her into this, but it is a real problem that this was even allowed O.o
